Clubhouse Fund

The Central Valley Board of Directors recognizes that for future growth at CVGC something is going to need to be done with the clubhouse facility. With more people moving to Hartford, and other courses in the area updating there facilities, something eventually will have to be done to satisfy our member and public needs. As everyone knows we are rapidly out growing our current facility, and as a business we don’t want to miss out on outing business or restaurant business because our facility is just to small.

Keith Matthiesen approached the board this summer about starting a Club House fund. At this time this fund has no plans attached, nor does it have a timetable. It is Keith’s desire to start generating money today for improvements tomorrow.

To get the fund established, Keith has started a “$100 Club.” Through word of mouth this summer, Keith has generated over $3500. Other ideas include a line item on the membership application, start having Sunday brunches with volunteer help, and auctions to just name a few ideas. Keith has also approached the city of Hartford and the SD Department of Economic Development for any funds that potentially may be available to the golf course.
